In fact, shops are naturally autotrophic. That means , they use the carbon dioxide, water, and the minerals to make their own food. This process takes place through photosynthesis, which requires sun.
But others, including experimenters at the University of California, Los Angeles, say the natural process is ineffective, as only 1 of the energy set up in sun reaches shops. Scientists are presently studying the product styles of crops similar as cowpea, tomato, tobacco, rice, canola and green peas, which use carbon from acetate when grown in the dark. Scientists have discovered a way to grow shops through artificial photosynthesis, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Food last week.
