How to Add Meta Description on Blogger Homepage?

If you write properly a meta description chances are you post will be on the top of the search results and more visits via social media.

As you can see in the above image, so now the question is how to enable it? it is very easy.

[1] : Login into your blogger account then Go to the setting menu, select the search preference option, and then select meta tags, then click on yes to enable the search description option.

[2] : Now type your homepage blog description and click on save.

Always try to put your targeted keywords in Search Description but avoid keyword stuffing.

How to Add Meta Description in Blogger to Individual Blog Posts/Pages?

[1] : Go to your Blog Posts and click Add a new post or edit the existing ones.
[2] : Click the Search Description option under Post settings. (This option appears only after you enabled search Description in Blogger Homepage)
[3] : Enter the meta description for the post and click ‘Done’.

Check the Blogger meta description working or not?

[1] : Go to your blog’s any post or any page; Right-click and you will find an option to ‘View Page Source’ and click on. Or, just type Ctrl + U on your keyboard.

[2] : Now search for your meta description. Type Ctrl + F in your browser and paste the description you entered in post/pages. Or, look for something like this;

[3] : <meta content=’….your description….’ name=’description’/>
